Physical Characteristics |
it is a mat-forming perennial or annual plant
with narrow leaves ending in a bristle-like point. It is 5-15 centimeters
high; it reproduces by vegetative propagation by rhizomes and it produces
a lot of seeds. The stem is creeping, ramate; only the stems bearing flowers
are upright. The lowest parts of the stem may have roots at the nodes. The
leaves are narrow and linear, slightly ciliate. The perennial plants have
a leaf basal rosette. Flowers are white, with four small white petals. |
