estuaries, in both soft and salt water. |

it feeds on invertebrates. |

most of them migrates at the beginning of
September. The others delay the migration till the beginning of October. |

it nests in colonies on the ground. |

it lays 4 eggs at the end of May, some clutches
can be anticipated at the first half of May. |
